Nicolette (Nikki) DeCoursey

In a career that spans over 25 years, Nikki spent 15 years with a major third party administrator. As the Regional Director of Legal and Compliance, she dealt, on a Midwest regional basis, with the various administrative and compliance issues of self-funded group health plans. Nikki founded Benefit Plan Consulting in 1997 for the purpose of providing consulting and plan document design services to self-funded employers and third party administrators. Ms. DeCoursey has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Purdue University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Indiana University. She has presented seminars and workshops on areas of ERISA compliance as well as the impact of other legislative mandates on employer benefit plans. Most recently she was a guest speaker on Plan Document/Summary Plan Description preparation and compliance for the Society of Professional Benefit Administrators (SPBA).
